wolf moon

The night of January 13, 2025, the Wolf Moon, also called "Wolf Moon," was the first full moon of the year. The name originated in Indian folklore, because it symbolizes the time that wolves cried with hunger outside villages during the winter months, and it was thought that there would be more wolves crying than in the rest of the year at full moon.

In spiritual traditions, the Wolf Moon is often seen as a powerful time for introspection, renewal and the tap of one's inner power. It represents a period of looking inside and embracing our primal instincts and reconnecting to our wild, authentic nature. Just as wolves are known for their intuition, loyalty and ability to navigate through darkness, the Wolf moon's energy encourages us to dive into the depths of our psyche and tap into our intuitive wisdom. Since this moon belongs to the constellation Cancer, where it ends up in tomorrow, the moon is in the constellation Twins tonight, it is also connected to our emotions and its anchoring and acceptance within ourselves. Back in our power, it encourages personal growth and letting go of no longer serving patterns, facing fears and boldly moving forward on our path.

de Citadel

Long ago there was a beautiful forest. It was there, as it was a good forest, not too dark and not too light. On sunny days the rays of sun shone between the leaves and the tribes and you could see the plants and animals grow and move. It was a nice place for a king to live and was worked on a fortified city with a citadel. A forest remains a forest and a king must also be able to be protected.

They started building the citadel because it seemed the right beginning. It became a very nice citadel, slim, but with volume, white plastered walls, a nice gate that ran up in an arch. The door that should be able to be made from the sturdy thick wood of a few large oaks in the forest around it. Furthermore, the citadel had four turrets with on it, just like on the middle roof, a total of five golden spheres with a small tip on it, almost like tears.

Unfortunately, as often in the world, the tide turned. Bigger and smaller natural disasters broke out, it became dark, the sun was no longer visible in the forest, where he had previously shined and lit the citadel so beautifully. The forest that slowly but steadily turned into a jungle. The inhabitants moved away, at so much insecurity, and the king mysteriously disappeared, never to be heard from again. Wild animals moved into the citadel without a door and vermin settled wherever possible. The white plaster became grey and then almost black the golden bulbs became dull and gray.

For many decades, it seemed like erasans, later a bold wandering wanderer discovered as by chance the citadel. It rained hard, very hard, as it did every day. The wanderer moved under the gate to rest and dry. The wild animals and the crawling had already left the citadel. The citadel stood there as a sad ruin and nothing reminded of his luster and glow of old times. Soon the tired wanderer fell into a deep sleep. And he was visited by a dream.

The next morning, it was softer raining, gently broke a ray of sunshine through the heavy foliage and fell on the face of the sleeping wanderer. This one first slowly opened an eye and then the other. He couldn't remember dreaming, let alone anything. However, he stood up with surprising resilience and looked straight into the sun. His eyes sparkled, it was not clear what color these were. He had a plan. At first he walked around the old fallen citadel a few times, while he took her into his eyes. Then his decision was made. He would stay here in this quiet deserted environment, but he would redecorate and clean the citadel and build the fortified city around it so that there could be life and beautiful things could be made for those who wanted to see it. Of course he thought that there should also be a king, but he realized that it really had to be found first. For the time being, he appointed himself a builder warrior warrior and began with good courage to the heavy not to underestimate job.

Turmeric

The Reis Totem is an animal that you notice suddenly, but for a long time in nature. If you encounter the totem animal for a long time, you have one or more life lessons to learn, according to spiritual usage. Unlike the life totem animal that says more about who you are, the journey totem animal helps you on your spiritual path for a while. Lately I see and photograph a lot of larvals myself, flying one time, sitting in a tree or on a pole. Then again very close and then very far away, but the agreement is that they look at me or at least observe me in many cases.

What stands out directly at a tower falcon is their elegance and speed. Tower falcons look remarkably graceful, but also impressive, although they are certainly not big for a bird of prey, their hull is only an inch or thirty. Tower falcons are extremely agile, even at a speed of sixty kilometers per hour and can make a sudden turn in their movement, turn or dive to a mouse in the field. A tower falcon has very nice large jet black eyes with a bright yellow ring around it, which looks at you piercingly. You can count on them seeing you and probably already before you see them, when you don't approach them from behind. The sharpness with which they see and the distance they see is legendary.

Legendary is the right word to use in this power animal. The ancient civilization of the Egyptians already used images of the falcon as a symbol or emblem of majesty, grace, power and protection. This is how the sun god becomes Ra depicted with the head of a falcon and it is a sacred animal. But falcons also appear as noble signs in blazons and symbols of power. And so is the martial arts. It seems they only have one natural enemy that matters, the (frightened) weasel.

Tower falcons are convincing hunters because of the above skills. High in the sky they hang with fast moving wings, which is called prayer, and search the ground beneath them, looking for prey to feed themselves or their young. They are very focused, alert and see everything and with their innate perceptiveness and intelligence there is hardly any prey that escapes them. Moreover, they are not afraid, go straight to their goal, certain and determined.

The scientific name of the tower falco is falco tinnunculus can be translated as a small schelle. When you get it kié kié kié kié kié kié kié You know, I've heard cries from a rook falcon. The nice thing about a tower falcon for bird photographers is that they let themselves be well photographed because they sit still on a branch for a long time or hang in the air and sometimes even give you the idea that they take the time to pose for you. For pictures taken by me, see photo of course. en.

At this moment in my life, the tower falcon seems to me to be a very good travel companion and wise force animal, on my path to further spiritual development and awareness.
